Charles Edward Duhart

Charles Edward Duhart, 70, of Sanford, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Advent Health Orlando in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Sanford, Florida, on January 17, 1954, to Arthur Lee Duhart, Sr. and Coretha Green Duhart. Charles attended Seminole County Public Schools in Sanford, Florida, and graduated from Seminole High School, Sanford, Florida, Class of 1972. He was a retired truck driver and an avid sports enthusiast.   

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Duhart, Sr.; his mother, Coretha Green Duhart; and siblings, Arthur Lee Duhart, Jr., and Mabel Barnes. 

Left to cherish his memory are Charles's loving children Katisha Duhart Byrd (Quinn), Serita Duhart Beamon (Demetry), Kimberly Duhart Johnson (Christopher), Cameron N. Duhart, Charles Willie Duhart, and Camille Margaret Duhart; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brother, Fred Duhart, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends. 

The wake will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM, at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2150 West Airport Boulevard, Sanford, Florida.

Family and close friends will attend the Celebration of Life Service for Charles Edward Duhart to be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10 AM at Calvary Temple of Praise, 2020 McCracken Road, Sanford, Florida 32771, with Minister Marlowe Smith, officiating. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Restlawn Cemetery, 1818 West 25th Sanford, Florida 32771.
