Curtis “Curt Dirtdauber” Williams a Native son of Sanford, Florida (Midway) a Resident of Rochester, New York went home to be with the Lord. Curtis came back to his home town after 58 years to be with his family on September 11, 2023. On October 18, 2023 he took his flight to his heavenly home to be with God. Curtis was born April 1, 1952 to the late Gladys M. Barrett and Walter Williams. He was the grandson of the late Estella (Mrs. Yank “Granny”) Williams, the nephew of Sadie and Benjamin and the brother to his late sister Francina Miller who passed on June 6, 2023 in Rochester, New York. Curtis attended the Public Schools of Seminole County Sanford, Florida and the Public Schools of Monroe County Rochester, New York. He was an Entrepreneur and love to repair Televisions and read. He said the Bible was a novel to him and everything he need was there. He loves to say by the Grace of God and his smile would tell you how happy he was. He spent time in the National Guard. Curtis is survived by his lovely family, sister Barbara J. Mitchell (Nathaniel) Williams, Jr., brother, James (Annie) Williams, Sr., two nieces, Connie Glover his Caregiver from New York to Florida, Penn Yann, New York and Tammy Fossitt, Sanford, Florida, six nephews, Winston (Tonja) Miller, Holly Spring, North Carolina, Nathaniel (Amanda) Williams III, Marcus (Kim) Williams, Roderick Williams, Reverend Vincent (Sherri) Williams, and James Williams Jr. all of Sanford, Florida, his best friend, Leon Oliver, Sanford, Florida. Viewing will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023 from 4-6pm at Trinity Memorial Chapel, Inc. 819 W 1st Street Sanford. Graveside Services will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Restlawn Cemetery West 25th Street Sanford, Florida.
