Kimberly Lavone Hines

Kimberly Lavone Hines, affectionately known as “Kim”, 62, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.  She was born on February 21, 1962, in Sanford, Florida to the late Richard Williams, Sr. and the Iola Hudley Williams.  She attended Seminole County Public Schools and was a graduate of Seminole High School, Sanford, Florida, Class of 1980.  Kimberly worked at Recoton Corporation, Inc., Lake Mary, Florida for over 12 years.  She was a member of the New Covenant House of Worship, Sanford, Florida.  Kimberly enjoyed socializing with others, dancing (especially the electric slide), and she loved and took pride in her hometown, Sanford, Florida. 

Kimberly was preceded in death by her loving parents, father, Richard Williams, Sr.; mother, Iola Williams; and brother, Gerald Williams. 

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Acy Hines, III; daughter, Keona Robinson (Larry, Jr.); grandchildren, Ta’Niyah Burke and Lawrence Mason, III; great-grandson, Kayden Mason; siblings, Lexie Williams (Piper), Gregory Williams, Arsinia Grant, Richard Williams, and Janice Williams Jordan;   and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives, and sorrowing friends who will truly miss her. 

Visitation on Friday, April 5, 2024, 4 PM – 6 PM at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 900 Locust Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771

Celebration of Life Service for Kimberly Lavone Hines will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 2 PM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 813 Pine Avenue, Sanford, Florida 32771.  Interment will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, 10:30 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
