Madison "Mac" Wilson

Madison "Mac" Wilson 91, of Winter Spring, Florida passed March 2, 2024, at Advent Health. Madison was born in Chipley, Florida on September 1, 1932, to the late Willie M. and Anna M. Wilson. At a young age the family soon moved to Oviedo, Florida. Mac was a 1953 graduate of Crooms High School in Sanford, Florida and a member Fountain Head Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He served his country in the U.S.Army and retired as a Mess Sergeant after 22 years. After retiring from the U.S. Army, he is began working for Walt Disney World in 1975 until retiring yet again in 1995. After Disney began its cruise line in 1997 Mac was asked to return as a cruise line representative. In 2008 Mac retired for the last time to enjoy his family. He was married to the love of his life Shirley Wilson who precedes him in death. 

Family that will cherish his memories are Patricia Wilson, and Tyrone Wilson.  Grandchildren: Renne Daniel, Mario Wilson, Cheri Anderson, Toria Washington, Keith Jenkins, Mya Wilson, Mason Wilson, and Tyson Wilson. He also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren, one sister-in -law Judy Smith and loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The service for Madison "Mac" Wilson will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, 11 AM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 311 East Broadway Street, Oviedo, Florida 32765. The burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, 20301.
