Matthew Scott Johnson

Matthew Scott Johnson passed away on November 25, 2023 at Halifax Health - Hospice Care Center Orange Center after a lengthy strong battle fighting multiple illnesses that amazed all who knew and loved him. Matt stands as an inspiration for his family. 

Matt's enjoyment was being in his boat fishing. He was a lifelong lover of fishing.

Matt was preceded in death by his loving wife Brenda of 22 years. Matt was born May 25, 1965 to the late Joseph Curtis Johnson Jr. and Betty Ray (Hiles) Johnson. 

Matt is survived by his four children Tim Robinson (Sanford), Cody (Sanford), Savannah (Sanford) and Brooke (Sanford).  And grandchildren Ainsley, Addison, Owen and Talon.

Matt was preceded in death by his brother Lucky (Missouri).  He is survived by his brothers Kit (Debary), Pat (Sanford), Tim (Sanford), his sisters Lisa Read (Deltona), Penny Jo (Sanford). 

Matt is survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
