The Sanford Airport Authority, hereinafter called "Owner," hereby requests sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the "MAINTENANCE BUILDING – DESIGN-BUILD” (Project), at the ORLANDO SANFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

 

The project can be generally described as:

 

Design and construction of a 12,500 square feet of pre-engineered metal building and associated site improvements on an existing parcel of land at the Orlando Sanford International Airport.  Work includes new building for office space, storage, and mechanic’s bay.  Site improvements include parking, drive aisles, fence/walls, and landscaping.  Renovation of the existing 6,000 square feet maintenance shed is included.

 

The time of completion for the Maintenance Building – Design-Build project is anticipated to be 365 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion.

 

The Sanford Airport Authority is only accepting electronic sealed response submissions. Respondents shall create a FREE account with OpenGov by signing up at https://flysfb.com/procurement/solicitations/. Once you have completed account registration, browse back to the Project page, click on "Submit Response", and follow the instructions to submit the electronic response.  Responses will be accepted up to 2:00 p.m., local time, July 29, 2022 (TO BE DETERMINED), at which time all responses received will be publicly opened, the contents noted and read aloud.  The opening will take place at the Sanford Airport Authority, 2nd Floor Boardroom, 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, FL  32773.

A MANDATORY Pre-Solicitation Conference will be conducted at the Orlando Sanford International Airport, Sanford Airport Authority Board Room, 1200 Red Cleveland Boulevard, Sanford, Florida 32773 on July 14, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., local time (TO BE DETERMINED). The Pre-Solicitation Conference is the primary opportunity that Respondents will have to address with the Owner questions about the solicitation.
