Should the claimant, not respond in writing will serve as a default in any court of record. The Sanford Airport Authority, hereinafter called "Authority", hereby requests sealed Request for Proposals (RFP) for “PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - PROPERTY, LIABILITY, AND WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCE BROKER”.
The project can be generally described as:
The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with qualified professional insurance broker firms to provide broker services for the Authority.
The Sanford Airport Authority (Authority), a dependent special district, issues this Request for Proposals (Solicitation) for Property, Liability, and Workers' Compensation Insurance Broker Services at the Orlando Sanford International Airport. The Authority welcomes responses to this Solicitation (Responses) from all national, regional, and Florida firms. The firms who submit a Response to this Solicitation must meet the minimum qualification requirements as specified in this Request for Proposal under the Minimum Qualification Requirements Section.
The selected Broker will be responsible to offer the Authority proposals from insurance companies, to perform the evaluation of proposals and to recommend the proposals that the Broker believes are in the best interest of the Authority. The insurance coverage proposal evaluation must include but not be limited to evaluation of the coverage forms and endorsements associated with proposals from insurers and should include alternatives and best options for underlying and excess coverage.
The Sanford Airport Authority is only accepting electronic sealed response submissions. NOTICE OF WORK SESSION, BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING & SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
The Seminole County School Board will hold three meetings on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The Board will meet at 12:00 p.m. for an Insurance Committee/Legislative Priorities/Open Discussion Workshop. The Board will hold a Budget Public Hearing for the purpose of adopting the 2023-2024 Tentative Budget at 5:05 p.m. The Board will then meet at 5:30 p.m. in regular session. All meetings will be held at the Educational Support Center, 400 E. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford, Florida. If you wish to obtain a copy of the agendas, please contact Jill Mahramus, Clerk to the School Board, 407/320-0241. Persons with disabilities requiring assistance to attend the meeting should contact Mark Russi, 407/320-0321, TDD 407/320-0290 or Florida Relay (v) 800/955-8770. The Seminole County School Board will meet in two Master Board training sessions. The Board will meet on July 27, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. and August 22, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. to receive training entitled “Building Governance Team Protocols; Communication & Culture; and Governance Team Roles & Responsibilities.” All training sessions will be held at the Educational Support Center, 400 E.
