WHEREAS, Sebron & Virena Lanier, 2059 Sipes Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771, are the owners of record of the Subject Property according to the Seminole County Tax Collector’s public records, and are the party having, or claiming to have, any right, title, or interest in the property described above.

 

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County has been requested to find and declare the structures located on the Subject Property in Seminole County, Florida to be dangerous structures which are a great hazard to the health, safety, and welfare of the general public and a public nuisance; that the owners of the property on which the structures are located is Sebron & Virena Lanier, 2059 Sipes Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771; that the structures are the remains of a single-family residence and garage type structure located at 2059 Sipes Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771, and further described as set forth above; and the corrective action of either repair of the structures in compliance with the Florida Building Code or demolition and removal of the structures are required to abate the public nuisance; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested to find that the following conditions constitute a public nuisance: (1) the above referenced structures are unoccupied and have been severely damaged by the elements of nature due to abandonment; (2) the roof system, foundation piers, doors and windows, including frames, and porch  have been removed or are damaged beyond reasonable repair and are in imminent danger of collapse; (3) electrical service to the structures have been disconnected. The electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems have been removed or are damaged beyond reasonable repair. These conditions constitute a potential fire hazard; and (4) the condition and location of the property is currently unsafe, promotes loitering, and creates a sanctuary for nuisance wildlife, transients, and drug users.

 

NOW THEREFORE, notice is hereby given to SEBRON & VIRENA LANIER, and all parties having or claiming to have any right, title, or interest in the property described above, to appear before the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida at 1:30 p.m., on the 27th day of June, 2023, at the Seminole County Services Building, Room 1028, 1101 East First Street, Sanford, Florida to show cause, if any, why such structures should not be declared a Public Nuisance and why the corrective action of abatement specified in this Notice and Summons for Declaration of Public Nuisance should not be taken.

The Sanford Airport Authority, hereinafter called "Authority",  hereby requests sealed Request for Proposals (RFP) for   “PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - PROPERTY, LIABILITY, AND WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCE BROKER”.

 

The project can be generally described as:

 

The purpose of this solicitation is to contract with qualified professional insurance broker firms to provide broker services for the Authority.

 

The Sanford Airport Authority (Authority), a dependent special district, issues this Request for Proposals (Solicitation) for Property, Liability, and Workers' Compensation Insurance Broker Services at the Orlando Sanford International Airport.  The Authority welcomes responses to this Solicitation (Responses) from all national, regional, and Florida firms.  The firms who submit a Response to this Solicitation must meet the minimum qualification requirements as specified in this Request for Proposal under the Minimum Qualification Requirements Section.

 

The selected Broker will be responsible to offer the Authority proposals from insurance companies, to perform the evaluation of proposals and to recommend the proposals that the Broker believes are in the best interest of the Authority.  The insurance coverage proposal evaluation must include but not be limited to evaluation of the coverage forms and endorsements associated with proposals from insurers and should include alternatives and best options for underlying and excess coverage.

 

The Sanford Airport Authority is only accepting electronic sealed response submissions.
