UNCLAIMED CURRENCY

PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 116.21

 

Notice is hereby given to the below listed individuals and all others who may claim an interest, right or title to the below listed property that Dennis M. Lemma, in his official capacity as Sheriff of Seminole County, Florida, through his officers, investigators or agents, came into possession of property in the below listed cases in their official capacity, whether collected as evidence, for safekeeping or as found property.  Said listed unclaimed moneys came into possession of the Sheriff prior to January 1, 2020 and no claim for said money has been made or has not been retrieved after having been sent notice (as applicable).  Unless such moneys are claimed on or before September 1, 2021 and said unclaimed currency shall be declared and considered forfeited to Seminole County and shall be disposed of according to law.

 

Persons having or claiming any interest in such funds or any portion of them shall file their written claims with the Evidence Custodian c/o Seminole County Sheriff Office, 100 Eslinger Way, Sanford, FL  32773 on or before September 1, 2021 and provide sufficient proof of their ownership or entitlement to receive any part of the moneys so claimed.  Seminole County Sheriff Office case numbers have been listed where the defendant/owner names are either unknown or cannot be listed.
