The Seminole State College of Florida Baseball team is now 6-8 on the season, sandwiching losses to Hillsborough Community College, 2-1, on Friday and at South Florida State College, 5-3, on Monday with a home sweep of a doubleheader on Saturday with ASA Miami, 6-5 and 14-5.
The Raiders will host a rematch with South Florida State today (Wednesday) starting at 2 p.m. at Jack Pantelias Field before traveling to Fort Pierce to take on Indian River State College at 1 p.m. on Friday and then return to Sanford on Saturday for a doubleheader with the Community College of Baltimore County-Catonsville at noon and 3 p.m.

The Stetson men’s basketball team (11-8 overall, 2-9 ASUN) fell to ASUN leading Lipscomb, 97-85, to wrap up a 2-game homestand at the Edmunds Center on Saturday.
Last Thursday, Divine Myles scored a career-high 30 points but the Hatters couldn't overcome an 18-point deficit as Kennesaw State (12-14, 6-4) escaped the Edmunds Center with a 92-85 win.
Derick Newton and Leo Goodman joined Myles in double figures with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Stetson begins a 2-game road trip tomorrow (Thursday) in Spartanburg, South Carolina against USC-Upstate at 7 p.m. and the Hatters will then head to Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday for a 4 p.m. contest with NJIT.

UCF baseball will be back under the lights Friday night at 6:30 p.m., hosting the Siena Saints in the 2017 season opener at the UCF Baseball Complex.
Opening Knight is FREE to all fans. Complimentary parking is available in Garage F, Lot E8, or in the outfield lot for a $5 fee.
The 3-game series will continue with games at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The hosts went 2-3 in the season-opening UCF Knights Invitational and are set to play their next nine games on the road, starting with a cross-country trip to the Mary Nutter Classic at Palm Spring, California. UCF will take on Cal Poly on Friday at 6 p.m. and powerful UCLA later in the evening.

For the fourth time in the past six years, the Hatters have won 10 games in a row.
Brittney Chambers scored a team-high 18 points off the bench and Brianti Saunders added 15 points as Stetson wrapped up a 3-game homestand, defeating visiting Kennesaw State 60-43 Monday night at the Edmunds Center.
The Hatters improved to 21-5 overall, 13-2 at home, and 10-1 in the ASUN while remaining tied for first place in league standings.
Carlotta Gianolla scored 19 points to lead the Owls (7-18, 6-5).
On Saturday, Saunders scored 22 points and Sarah Sagerer blocked six shots as Stetson rallied for a 66-60 win over visiting Lipscomb at the Edmunds Center to reach the 20-win mark for the seventh consecutive season.
Sagerer finished with 11 points, nine rebounds and six blocks. Breana Bey netted 10 points and McKenna Beach dished out a career-high nine assists.
The game was Stetson's final home contest of the regular season. The Hatters will travel to New Jersey to face NJIT on Saturday at 1 p.m.
