The Seminole County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying a battery suspect.
The incident occurred Monday around 7:30 p.m., as a female victim was walking near Keewannee Trail and Flaming Arrow Court in unincorporated Maitland.
There, a man pulled up to her on what she described later as a “motorized bike,” and made suggestive comments, also grabbing her buttocks, a press release from SCSO states.
As the victim tried to defend herself, both of them fell to the ground and the suspect continued to grope the victim. The victim screamed and fought back and eventually the suspect left the scene. The victim suffered minor cuts and abrasions during the struggle.
The suspect was described as a white male around the age of 25. He wore shorts, a long-sleeved black hoodie, red and black tennis shoes and dirty blond/light brown hair, the press release states.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact SCSO at at 407-665-6650 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
