Herald photos by Greg Fencik

Hagerty (from top-to-bottom) won its second consecutive Regional Championship and will be facing Sara-sota in the Class 8A State Semifinals next Friday in Ft. Myers. Cameron Alba went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI and Vaughan Grissom had two hits and drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in a 4-run third-inning as the host Huskies posted a 6-2 victory over George Jenkins from Lakeland. The big third inning proved to be enough for Josh Allen, who carried a shutout into the fifth inning and left having allowed two runs on five hits before Bailey Wendel came on to earn the save with two scoreless innings of relief.
