Thermotane Propane acquires Matchett & Son LP Gas

Thermotane Propane, a family-owned propane provider based out of Sanford has been serving Florida since 1947, has officially acquired Matchett & Son LP Gas in Interlachen, FL. The privately negotiated acquisition marks Thermotane’s second in company history and expands its service footprint into the Gainesville, Ocala, and St. Augustine markets. “Acquiring Matchett & Son LP Gas marks a major milestone for Thermotane. It expands our reach and reinforces our commitment to affordable, customer-first propane service,” said Chandler Robertson, President. The company continues to advance its growth plan, with a fourth location in permitting and a fifth already in development.
