Five days before Christmas, Seminole County Public Schools posted information about mental health resources available over the holidays when schools were closed.

The St. Johns River Water Management District broke ground Wednesday on a surface water pump that could draw up to 4 million gallons daily from Lake Monroe to meet needs in the City of Deltona.

Members of the group GA-20 will play at 8 with doors open at 7 p.m. inside Tuffy’s Bottle Shop and Lounge this Thursday.

A 24-year-old Altamonte Springs man died early Friday morning following a one-car crash on John Young Parkway and Forest City Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash in Orange County happened around 2:40 a.m. Friday.
