Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS), in partnership with Ali’s Hope Foundation, recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Hope Hub at Winter Springs High School during Mental Health Awareness Month. Ali’s Hope presented a check to the principals of Winter Springs High and Lake Mary High to fund a social worker to share time between the campuses and provide support for students.
The Hope Hub is a dedicated student wellness space designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment where students can reset, decompress, and connect with trusted adults and mental health resources.
The renovated Hope Hub reflects SCPS’s commitment to supporting the whole child by prioritizing student mental health and wellness. Through a grant funded by Ali’s Hope Foundation, the space also provides access to a licensed mental health practitioner, helping ensure students have support when they need it most.
The event also highlights the importance of community partnerships in expanding mental health resources for students and reducing stigma surrounding mental health conversations.
