David “Eli” Grimes describes himself as “just a simple song writer” but he is out to make a difference with his music.

Yet, he added, “I’m someone that cares. With everything going on in this world right now and nothing is certain. I think we are a long, long way from all of this being over. As a songwriter I sat down and wrote and recorded a new song.

Grimes wrote the melody, “You Are Our Angels.” This tune is a dedication for what he describes as “ all of our unsung heroes.”

He said the music is guaranteed to touch people’s hearts as well as raise some  money to help feed the hungry in the world right now.

According to Grimes, the song, “You Are Our Angels” is loaded on ITunes. It sells for .99 cents.

He cited that 100% of all the proceeds will go to help feed the hungry. One of the recipients will be One Hope International from Seminole County, www.onehopeint.com. One Hope recently rolled out its Free Little Pantry program.

“If we sell one copy or a million copies all  of the proceeds will go to help nourish families in need,” he cited.

“Maybe I’m a dreamer,” he said. “I sure hope the song touches hearts. I just want to get the word out by telling people we are on a mission and we’ve only just begun to fight.”
